4th Annual Weekend Tennis Event
When and Where?
Brandi’s Wish Foundation is proud to announce our 4th annual Brandi’s Wish Weekend. The night before the tennis tournament on Friday, October 17th at 7pm, there will be a premier Silver Lining Social Sponsor Dinner at The Francis at Louies Modern. To register for dinner go to 2014 Silver Lining Social Tickets. The Tennis Tournament will go through the weekend, Saturday and Sunday October 18-19th at Longboat Key Club. All entries must be received by Monday, October 13th by 6pm: 2014 Tennis Tournament Registration.
Who and What?
If you love to play tennis, this is the event to attend. Show off your skills as you work toward raising awareness for teen drug addiction education. Division 7.0, 8.0, 9.0 and Open are available for registration, but only the Open division is available for prize money. There must be four teams per event for the prize money to be awarded and the team’s ratings may not exceed their chosen division. Winning teams will be two out of three sets with a twelve-point tiebreaker at 6 games all. USTA rules will be applied to all divisions. Open to Men’s, Women’s and Mixed Double categories.
One person can play in either one or two divisions, while a double team must play in one division. The price options are listed below:
- 1 person, 1 division – $55.00
- 1 person, 2 divisions $85.00
- 1 double team, 1 division $110.00
After the sudden death of 18 year old Brandi Shea Meshad, who died from accidental prescription drug poisoning, Brandi’s Wish Foundation was founded to inspired the community in educating teens and their parents about the dangers of prescription drug addiction. At Brandi’s Wish, we believe that every teenager can achieve a drug-free life full of happiness and success. Our mission is to raise awareness through education and prevention.
